Logitech Revue with Google TV and TV Cam

Logitech Revue with Google TV and TV Cam

If your television has an HDMI port, you can take full advantage of Logitech Revue with Google TV and TV Cam. Just connect your Revue to your TV and the cable or satellite, and you’re ready to turn your television into a smart TV.

Add your high speed Internet connection by way of Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and you’ll have total control in what you’re doing, what you’re watching, and which games you’re playing, with thousands of choices from a wide range of sources.

With the Logitech Revue, you’ll have Google TV. This includes videos, television shows, websites, and apps, all in high definition. You’ll be able to enjoy some DVRs, too. Revue does away with having to look forever to find something good to watch. All you have to do is type in whatever it is that you want.

This might be the name of your favorite TV show, your favorite channel, or the name of your favorite actor or actress. If you don’t want to be that specific, you don’t have to be. Let’s say you’re in the mood for a comedy. Just type in “comedy,” and the Logitech Revue will find the genre for you.

If you enjoy YouTube videos, you’ll love watching them in high def on the big screen. You can do the same with Twitter, CNBC, NBA.TV, and Netflix, too. And even more TV apps are on the way via the Android Market.

To expand your Logitech Revue and make it even more awesome, add the Logitech TV cam. By connecting the camera to the Google TV system, you can make and receive high-def video calls to friends and family members on their Logitech Revue, Mac, or PC – all from the comfort of your favorite chair. You might also want to add a mini controller, an HD Powerline Kit, and/or a Harmony app for Android and iPhone.

I really enjoy my Logitech Revue, can’t beat updating Twitter and FaceBook while watching ESPN on the same screen. I also have it integrated with my DISH Network system so if I search for an actor or movie it also searches all of my DVR recordings as well as my program guide, it’s great! Working for DISH Network I know that you can’t integrate the Logitech with any other company, not to mention you get a discount being a DISH subscriber.
